ARMATEX®Q Thermal Seals

ARMATEX® Q  is a proprietary range of coated fabrics and textiles designed for high thermal sealing applications. These are engineered using a range of substrate materials and a refractory Q-Mix coating solution that permeates the material and provides enhanced thermal, chemical, and abrasion resistance with low reduction of the material flexibility. This heavyweight thermal sealing solution is suitable for the most demanding heat treatment applications, including emission control, expansion joint, and rotary kiln sealants.

THERMOPAK® Thermal Seals

By fabricating our ARMATEX® Coated Fabrics and our HYTEX® Textiles together, we can create an enormous range of bespoke high-temperature thermal seals in our line of  THERMOPAK® Products.  Base materials for our THERMOPAK® fabricated components include coated fiberglass materials, silica, and Inconel mesh, among many others. These provide broad thermal resistances for temperatures of up to 2760°C (5000°F) for application as furnace and oven door seals, reusable/removable insulation blankets and pads, and welding protection.

This product range is routinely used to manufacture high-temperature die-cut gaskets and tadpole gaskets for ultimate flexibility in thermal sealing. We have supplied these components for numerous industrial facilities, including sectors as severe as non-ferrous metal handling.
