SILTEX® Woven Silica Fabric and Textiles are comprised of high purity, high strength 96% amorphous silica fibers. Excellent for use in high-temperature resistant and chemical resistant applications, SILTEX®products have a continuous operating temperature of 1800°F • 982°C, and offer protection against most corrosive solutions and chemical reagents.
Uses for SILTEX® products include welding blankets and curtains, furnace curtains, thermal insulation systems, and other applications requiring heat, abrasion, or chemical resistance.
