Ranging in weight from 7 oz/sy to 90 oz/sy, our standard coated fabrics are suitable for a wide variety of applications including removable pad insulation, die-cut gaskets, drop cloths or curtains for welding protection, and fabricated thermal insulation barriers. ARMATEX® Silicone Coated Fabrics can also be used in specialty applications such as aircraft loading walkways, protective robot covers or specialty airbags. While fiberglass is most commonly used as a base fabric, Mid-Mountain has the capability to coat high performance fabrics such as Kevlar®, Nomex®, and Silica, as well as aerospace grade ceramic fiber.
