SILTEX^® Rope, Sleeving and Tape make up a family of high performance textile products comprised of amorphous silica fibers that are manufactured into strong, flexible materials.  These products are excellent for use where severe temperature conditions exist.  The silica fibers that make up SILTEX^® products are unaffected by most chemicals, except strong alkalis, hydrofluoric acid or sodium.
